Golden State is our juried group show features artwork from a nationwide pool. Sutter Creek, the heart of the Gold Rush, provides the stage for this conversation across media about place, moment, and vision. California’s golden world: landscapes, gold country, flora and fauna, mineral pigments, the alchemy of paint, and the beauty of sculpture, photography and textiles.

The History of Our Gallery and Building
Gallery 10 was founded in 1995 by eleven established artists living in the Gold Country region. The art work presented by these original artists represented a variety of media and artistic vision.
This wide range of artistic interpretation is still evident in the collection of fine art, jewelry, photography and pottery presented in the gallery today.
Gallery 10 is an "artists' gallery" managed by a select group of practicing artists who display their work along with a carefully chosen group of consignor artists and craftsmen.
Located in the charming community of Sutter Creek, California, Gallery 10 is housed in an historic building dating back to the 1890's. Formerly a saloon and bordello, the structure stands as an example of the commercial architecture of the mid 1800's.
